Scrap Metal is generated from the steel track we recover that is no longer suitable for running trains on. We have an array of commodities from rail and sleepers, to smalls such as pandrol clips, bolts and screws. We also have cast metal including fishplates, baseplates and sleeper chairs.

Scrap rail in particular is sold in various lengths from cropped 5ft up to full 60ft lengths on occasion. With Flat-bottom rail being the most commonly available, we occasionally have Bullhead and conductor rail too.

Rail can be purchased for an array of business or personal requirements, whether to remain within the scrap industry returning to furnaces for recycling, or for projects from furniture to other inventive uses including musical instruments, sculptures, guides for boats entering the water and even cattle grids.

Other scrap metals are available for purchase from steel sleepers (grade 4) as well as an array of cast products.
Although some of our cast products are clean, some are often classed as contaminated with oil, diesel and general waste having been removed from our busy infrastructure.
